My professional writing career started in my days as a lifestyle and media blogger when I joined a magazine to cover Louisiana film, fashion, and entertainment. From there, I’ve been through a natural progression into gaming and tech content with The Nerd Machine, travel and food writing at Daebak and SnackFever, and a smorgasbord of lifestyle editorial content at Pinterest. Writing for the homespace at Apartment Therapy Media became a combination of all those things.
Creativity and inspiration has always been central to my writing, whether it's an album review or a love letter to my favorite organization products. I love tapping into the everyday curiosity that drives someone to curate a space that truly embodies their vision, and where do we showcase that more than our own homes? A huge part of my role is testing products, which puts me at the forefront of trendy and innovative gadgets and gizmos to make life at home more fun and efficient.
In my spare time, I’m often working on creative projects, watching K-dramas, playing video games, or spoiling my dogs. That’s if I’m not in the middle of planning my next trip for a concert, festival, or just to explore.
